May 2025 EMNLP Sumbission I submitted my first paper to the ACL Rolling Review. The title is Child-Directed Language Does Not Consistently Boost Syntax Learning in Language Models and it is now available on arXiv.
from 30.03.2025 to 04.04.2025 ALPS Winter School in Aussois (French Alps) I will attend the Speech and Natural Language Processing winter school in the Alps and present a poster on my current research.

from April 2025 Joining the Organization Team of the Linguistics Lunch From April 2025 onward I will be part of the organization of the CLCG Linguistics Lunches at the Faculty of Arts at RUG. This is a monthly event where two CLCG researchers give a short presentation on their work. The lunch is held every last Thursday of the month from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
13.03.2025 InCLoW Reading Group Presentation I gave a presentation for my colleagues during a session of the internal InCLoW (Interpretable, Cognitively inspired, and Low-resource language modeling) Reading Group. I presented the paper 'Between Circuits and Chomsky: pre-pretraining on formal languages imparts linguistic biases' by Michael Y. Hu et al., 2025. You can find the slides here.
